  1. I met Joseph in Stockholm when he played with Peter Friestedt’s L.A. Project… http://westcoast-aor.ning.com/photo/albums/la-project-ii-live-at

  2. Sylvia says:

Your list contains my two favourite songs from the album.

This Fall makes for a hot start. Lukes guitar playing is excellent. Joseph’s voice is very powerful.

Wonder At All is my second favourite song. It has a catchy mid-tempo rhythm, a matching melody and Joseph’s singing is especially expressive and emotional. It’s one of those songs that remind me most of his time with Toto.

Angelie was my favourite song from the beginning. It has lots of that Steve Porcaro magic in it we know from Lea. And I don’t think there is anybody out there who can transport this magic better through his voice than Joseph.

These are just three great songs from an album full of great songs. Thank you for making it available at cdbaby.com.

  3. This Fall is a great song!!

  4. Joseph Williams keeps the west coast music alive – great to see an artist that continues to bring out music that is loyal towards his world wide music fanbase.

  5. Arnaud Leger says:

3 amazing songs from Joseph’s new and long awaited album.
“This fall” is a powerful song which could featured on a Toto record. This is the “Rock” side of Joseph Williams.
“Wonder at all” is the cousin of “I am alive” from Joe’s third album. Catchy tune with great background vocals on the chorus.
“Angelie” is my favorite song from this album. This is the soft melodic side of joseph, I prefer. A smooth clear voice on a beautiful melody that create a magic atmosphere.

  6. Gerhard says:

Hi Joe, great to have your Voice back in AOR Rock Music. This Fall is great Album continuing Vertigo and Toto. Please don’t stop this Time and maybe we can see you on Stage again in Vienna. Ask Steve (Lukather), the audience in the Vienna Club Szene is really great!

Only 3 favorite Songs allowed? Ok!

    1) Do ya
    2 Angelie
    3) Yeah Yeah Yeah

  7. Kristina says:

“This Fall” is a surprising but refreshing start to the album. Pure rock’n'roll. Leaves your jaw open and foot tapping from the very beginning. Joe’s vocals are very strong, and perfect as always. The great guitair work and a matching solo is cream on the top. I really haven’t figured out what the lyrics mean, but I like the song nevertheless.

“Wonder At All” sounds a lot like the Beatles. It took me a bit more time to get into this song. Another song with mysterious lyrics. This song is based on a dream, so I don’t wonder that at all(:-D)

“Angelie” is a really beautiful song with heartbreakingly sad lyrics. I don’t get tired listening to it. On the opposite, I find myself like it more and more all the time.

I like the whole album very much and it is hard to name my favorite song, but I think it is Do ‘Ya. To hear Joe, Bobby and David sing together just makes me happy!

  8. Angelo says:

This Fall – Steve Lukather opens the CD with a powerfull calaboration with Joseph. Joseph commented about how he likes to write songs and this was his example. Both Joe and Steve arranged this song and you have to give props to Emmanual E-Man Cervantes on some powerful drumming on this track. This track could be dangerous to your health if you have a fast car as you will be tempted to turn this track up and gun the car.

Wonder At All – This track obviously comes from deep inside Joe. We all wonder if we can trust our faith in God and the fustration and confusion with Mortality sometime leads us to just throw our hands in the air and wonder if it’s all worth the worry. Joe lost his mother at a very young age and I am sure this has haunted him at some level over the years.

Angelie – According to Joe this track was the most difficult to produce. Credits list Steve Porcaro as producer and arranger. Joe does a great job with all the overlap harmonies. “The truth is that where you are my heart is” says it all. It’s pure love with the haunting emotional feel of Mr. Porcaro and the help of Mr. Lukather as well. I hate when people make me cry!

  9. Joseph’s back with great lyrics.

    My favorits are:
Tell me somthing new – a song of hope, not to give up eventhougt love love can be a stuggle. Just listen to your heart at frigtht. Somtimes it’s too easy to give up.

Yeah, Yeah, Yeah – made me dance :-) )

Angelie – beautiful but sad lyrics. Great tune. If it wasn’t a song about a girl that left a boy, it could be a me singing that tune. I can feel the sadnes.

All in all a great album.

  10. Raquel says:

    Wonder At All:
This song has a deep lyric with a little sixty touch in the chorus. As usual Joseph sings with his heart, he puts his soul in this song.

    Angelie:
Is beautiful song. The most important is the voice, not the music. This is a background, but the Joseph´s voice is so clearing, so pure that you feel like in a dream.

    This Fall:
Is a powerful song, opposite to Angelie. The guitar is so hard and the voice is a complement to the music. Good job Joseph and Lukather.

  11. Pablo says:

    Wonder At All:

Is one of the songs that more touch me, together with Angelie.
The lyric is a deep reflection, very personal ( a balance) with a lot of feelings.
The music leads into the time and stop to you in front of your life like a movie.

    Angelie:

I love it. Is a real situation or not?!
Is to wake up to a good dream, in a nice morning together with a true love.

    This Fall:

Is a powerful song, wildness and dizzy. The guitar accompanist very good to Joseph´s voice.

  12. Cyril says:

“This Fall” – What can I say? Simple, powerful and Rock & Roll and a great solo by Steve Lukather.

“Wonder At All” – A sun rises to drive out the sorrow of our hearts, a wonderful song.

“Angelie” – After the songs “Lea” of TOTO or “Young At Heart” of Porcaro Brothers, today a new pearl is born.

Bravo Joseph Williams and all the musicians !!!
